The Rideau Lakes Studio Tour is an annual event showcasing the work of local artists in the picturesque Rideau Lakes region of Ontario.

The 2024 tour will take place on June 29 and 30, from 10:00 am to 5:00 pm each day . Now in its 26th year, the tour features 22 artists, providing visitors with the unique opportunity to explore various studios, witness the creative process firsthand, and purchase original artworks directly from the artists. This year’s event includes a mix of returning and new artists, each offering a range of artworks across different mediums, such as painting, sculpture, ceramics, and glass fusion .

Participants can expect to visit diverse and inspiring studios, and engage with the artists about their inspirations and techniques.

One of the highlights of this year’s tour is the participation of Andrew D. Milne, a popular impressionistic landscape painter. Andrew will be showcasing his work at Studio M, located at Davis Lock, Ontario. His impressionistic landscapes are renowned for their vibrant depiction of natural scenes, capturing the essence and beauty of the Rideau Lakes region.
